Building Bridges Project

Building Bridges for Education (BBE) is a fictitious non-governmental organization dedicated to improving access to education in underserved communities around the world. Over the past few years, the organization has successfully implemented projects in various parts of the world, positively impacting the lives of thousands of children.

In recent times, BBE has been struggling with a serious problem: a decrease in employee retention leading to high employee turnover. Employees who leave the organization cite lack of motivation, low morale, and a general feeling of disengagement as reasons for their departure. The senior leadership team is committed to improving the culture at the highest level. Yet they also believe that management has a big responsibility. Managers create conditions that result in employee engagement or disengagement. They set the tone for the organization and have the power to shape the day-today work environment. BBE wants to do whatever it takes to help managers create a work environment where employees feel valued and motivated.

I’ve been assigned the project. My plan is to design a solution that improves the performance of managers, so they can create conditions that allow employees to thrive.
